So many people think that drug stores are too expensive to shop at. I agree, but if you shop drug store "sales" or drug store "rebates" and combine them with coupons, those expensive prices soon go out the window, and discount stores look expensive!
Here's what I did at Rite Aid on Tuesday!
Purchased:
got2b hair lotion 6.99 (picked up one that wasn't on sale)
Playtex Tampons 5.29
Charles Worthington Shampoo 5.99
Schick Razor 11.49 BOGO (got refills too)
Total: 29.76
Coupons:
2.00 got2b
Schick BOGO (-11.49)
5/25
Total OOP: 13.20 with tax
Will receive SCR for:
4.99 got2b
4.00 Charles Worthington
2.00 Schick
Final Cost: 2.21 (My tax for this purchase was 1.93!)
Had I paid closer attention and gotten the correct got2b product, this would have been a profitable trip! I can't complain though. Thanks Rite Aid!
